Whether you're watching your little one squeal with excitement when they spot Lightning McQueen or smiling as you walk beneath King Triton's watchful gaze, Art of Animation is a resort that celebrates imagination around every corner.

If you're looking for a resort that's colorful, playful, and packed with Disney magic, Art of Animation is one of Walt Disney World's most unforgettable places to stay.

The Vibe

If we had to describe Art of Animation in one word, it would be **immersive**.

This isn't just a place to sleep after a day in the parks—it's part of the adventure. Everywhere you turn, you'll find oversized characters, colorful details, and scenes inspired by *Finding Nemo*, *Cars*, *The Lion King*, and *The Little Mermaid*.

It's energetic, whimsical, and filled with the kind of excitement that reminds you what Disney storytelling is all about.

Why We Love It

• Incredible Disney and Pixar theming throughout the resort

• Easy access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios via the Skyliner

• The Big Blue Pool, inspired by *Finding Nemo*, is the largest resort pool at Walt Disney World

• Spacious Family Suites for larger groups

• One of the best food courts among Disney Value Resorts

• Endless photo opportunities around every corner

Things to Consider

Art of Animation is incredibly popular—and for good reason.

Because of its immersive theming and Skyliner access, it can feel lively throughout the day. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat, another resort may be a better fit.

Standard rooms are located only in the Little Mermaid section, which is farther from the main building, dining, and Skyliner station. It's something to keep in mind if minimizing walking is a priority for your group.

Family Suites offer much more space and place you closer to the heart of the resort, making them a great option for larger families.

Dining Highlights

Landscape of Flavors is one of our favorite quick-service locations at any Disney Value Resort.

With a variety of fresh, customizable options alongside classic favorites, it's easy to find something for everyone before heading to the parks or after a busy day of adventures.

Recreation

Take time to explore every themed courtyard—you'll feel like you've stepped into four different movies.

Kids love interacting with the oversized characters, while adults often find themselves stopping to admire the incredible attention to detail. Even if you're not swimming, the Big Blue Pool area is worth visiting just to soak in the atmosphere.

Pixie Pal Tip

Don't rush straight to your room after check-in! Set aside time to wander through each themed section of the resort. Some of the best photo opportunities—and some of the biggest smiles—come from simply exploring.

Our Favorite Moment

One of our favorite things about Art of Animation isn't a ride or a restaurant—it's watching families experience it for the first time.

Seeing a child run toward Lightning McQueen with pure excitement or hearing someone excitedly point out their favorite character is a reminder that Disney magic isn't limited to the parks. Sometimes, it begins the moment you step onto your resort's walking paths.

Is Art of Animation Right for You?

We think you'll love Disney's Art of Animation Resort if you're looking for a vacation that's bursting with color, imagination, and Disney storytelling from sunrise to bedtime.

It's especially wonderful for families with young children, Pixar fans, and anyone who wants the convenience of the Skyliner without stretching to a Moderate or Deluxe Resort.

Every Disney resort tells its own story. At Art of Animation, you're invited to step right inside it.

Have you stayed at Art of Animation? We'd love to hear which themed area is your favorite!
