If we had to describe Coronado Springs in one word, it would be **relaxing**.
Unlike some Disney resorts that are full of larger-than-life characters and nonstop excitement, Coronado Springs invites you to slow down. The music is calm. The landscaping is lush. The pathways encourage evening strolls around Lago Dorado, and every corner seems to offer another beautiful view.
It's easy to forget you're only minutes from the theme parks.

Things to Consider
Coronado Springs isn't the perfect fit for everyone—and that's okay.
The resort is fairly large, so depending on where your room is located, you may have a longer walk to dining or transportation.
Unlike resorts on the Skyliner or Monorail, transportation is by Disney buses.
If your vacation revolves around quick access to the parks, another resort may be a better match.
However, if you enjoy spending time at your resort and appreciate beautiful surroundings, these trade-offs may be well worth it.

One of Coronado Springs' biggest strengths is its food.
Whether you're grabbing a quick breakfast before heading to the parks, relaxing with dinner after a long day, or enjoying a specialty coffee in the morning, you'll find plenty of options without ever leaving the resort.
One of our favorite things about staying here is that it truly feels like a destination all on its own.

Plan at least one evening where you don't rush off to a park. Grab your favorite drink, take a stroll around Lago Dorado, and enjoy the beautiful lighting reflected on the water. It's one of the most peaceful experiences you'll find anywhere at Walt Disney World.
